Secret reveals new member Yebin ahead of first comeback in ~12 years
Secret returns as a three-member unit with Jeon Hyo-sung, Jung Ha-na, and new member Yebin. Their special mini album 'Secret Flavor' arrives June 18.
Secret introduced new member Yebin on June 8 via YouTube video titled "Introducing Secret's New Member Yebin."
Yebin performs a solo cover of Taeyeon's "U R" in the clip. Jeon Hyo-sung shared it on her personal SNS: "Please look kindly at our Yebin."
The lineup shift took years to materialize. Han Sun-hwa left in 2016 for acting. Song Ji-eun departed in 2018. Jeon Hyo-sung and Jung Ha-na (also known as Jinger) eventually declared a reunion and brought Yebin aboard as the third member.
Secret debuted in 2009 with "Magic," "Madonna," "Shy Boy," "별빛달빛," "사랑은 Move," and "POISON." The June 18 Secret Flavor release marks their first comeback in approximately 12 years. A trailer dropped June 7 on their official YouTube channel.
Twelve years is a long gap even by K-pop reunion standards. The new three-member configuration is essentially a fresh start.
