THE BOYZ's Jacob announces first Asia Showcase Tour with Seoul date on July 17

Jacob (배준영), lead vocalist of THE BOYZ, will hold his first Asia Showcase Tour — titled JACOB MORE THAN WORDS — at Cube Convention Center in Seoul on July 17, 2026. The Seoul concert poster dropped on June 22, with ticket sales opening June 29.

Born May 30, 1997 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Jacob is now 28. He debuted with THE BOYZ on December 6, 2017 as part of the group's first mini album THE FIRST. The 10-member group includes Sangyeon, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, New, Q, Sunwoo, and Eric.

His credits span the group's catalog. He wrote on the regular first album REVEAL. The third album Unexpected added composition on "Starry night" and lyrics for "Love! 우린 이미 선을 넘었어". He composed "Spring Snow" and wrote lyrics for both "WHISPER" and "Awake".

In 2025, Jacob self-composed Stranger, handling songwriting, composition, and arrangement entirely on his own. That April, he appeared in Duo Hae Duo Episode 1 (feat. THE BOYZ Jacob), produced by Ha Ha.

Off stage, he plays guitar, drums, and beatbox. Basketball and volleyball are his sports—he spent six years as a setter. His official in-group nickname is "angel," which, given the résumé, tracks.
