(G)I-DLE's Minnie and Miyeon guest on Running Man ahead of mini album 9 drop

(G)I-DLE's Minnie and Miyeon appeared on SBS Running Man on July 5 at 6:10 PM, just ahead of the group's mini album 9 We Made, out July 6.

For Miyeon, it was her fifth time on the show. Minnie's was her first. She wasted no time making an entrance—revealing that her family runs a resort in Thailand. "Come visit our resort," she told the cast, then pivoted straight to business: "The Running Man Thailand special should be filmed at our resort!" Miyeon chimed in, confirming that Minnie "has several houses in Thailand."

The episode featured a special called You'll Get a Lump Sum If You Live Long Enough, where cast members became small business owners tackling various tasks for cash. The centerpiece: harvesting and sorting "mystery peaches," a seasonal variety with a roughly two-week annual harvest window. Anyone who didn't pull their weight earned just 5,000 won a day.

Midway through, chaos erupted when some members snuck off to cook instant jjajangmyeon in secret. Yoo Jae-suk caught them red-handed and couldn't help joining in. Kim Jong-kook chased after the runaways. Miyeon mixed up maesil-cheong (plum extract) for sikhye (sweet rice drink) during an errand, sparring playfully with Yang Se-chan over the mix-up.
