Jang Wonyoung fully removes hat and mask at airport screening ahead of Japan trip

Jang Wonyoung of IVE passed through Gimpo International Airport's international departure terminal on July 2 for a Japan schedule. She removed her hat and mask completely during the departure screening process.

The moment landed differently than her May visit to the same airport. Back then, an airport staff member asked her to show her face for passport verification ahead of a trip to Shanghai, China. Wonyoung only slightly lowered her hat and mask. That partial compliance set off public debate.

This July appearance marked her first airport outing since the controversy. No mask. Hat off before the identity verification procedure.
