Actress Oh Yoon-ah announced her remarriage on July 3 via YouTube, 11 years after her 2015 divorce, to a non-celebrity who has embraced her son.
Oh Yoon-ah announced her remarriage on July 3 via her YouTube channel Oh!윤아, in a video titled 오윤아 새출발ㅣOh!윤아 TEASER EP.00. Her fiancé is a non-celebrity. "I'm getting married," she said, noting that many subscribers had told her they wanted to see her living happily with a good partner.
She married in 2007, had a son, and divorced in 2015. For the years that followed, she raised him alone. Her child was always her top priority—she had expected to spend her life that way. Then she met someone she described as "a really good person." (The son is referred to by name as Min throughout her remarks.)
Her prospective in-laws welcomed Min "like a real grandchild." She felt that would have been impossible without fate. She was cautious about the announcement. The relationship developed naturally as her future husband accepted her child within his own comfort.
