Oh Yoon-ah remarries 11 years after divorce, JTBC drama set to air September 19

Oh Yoon-ah is having a big month. On July 3, she announced her remarriage to a non-celebrity man via her YouTube channel Oh!윤아. Eleven years had passed since her divorce. She'd been raising a son with developmental disabilities alone.

In her announcement she said: "I met a really good person and decided to get married. My in-laws welcomed our son like a real grandchild. It's really not easy."

Then the drama news arrived. On August 6, JTBC confirmed that 날아올라라 나비 (Fly, Butterfly) will premiere on September 19. The show follows hair designers and interns at a beauty salon as they transform customers and grow alongside them. Oh Yoon-ah plays the salon director. The drama had already aired in Taiwan in 2022 before getting a Korean broadcast date.

Oh marked the announcement on her personal channel the same day with a short post: "Ah!!! Finally revealed!!! I'm crying." Five years is a long time to wait for your own show to land at home.
