Oh Yoon-ah celebrates son Song Min's 20th birthday with new in-laws after remarriage

Oh Yoon-ah posted a birthday video on her SNS on August 28, celebrating her son Song Min's 20th birthday. "Happy birthday!!! I love you, our son," she wrote, adding: "Thank you, Mother-in-law and Father-in-law."

The message came just weeks after Oh confirmed her remarriage to a non-celebrity man earlier this month. Her agency, WA Entertainment, confirmed she has already registered the marriage and is living with her husband. A wedding ceremony date has not been decided yet, the agency said.

Oh had announced the remarriage herself through her YouTube channel last month. Song Min has developmental disabilities. She raised him alone after divorcing in 2015—eight years after her first marriage in 2007.

She credited her new in-laws for making the blended family work. "They accepted our Min like a grandson. It's not an easy thing, and I felt it wouldn't be possible without fate," she said. Of her husband, she noted he "comfortably accepted the child within what he could do, so it happened very naturally." She is being more careful given that he is not a public figure.

Song Min had already reached another milestone before his birthday. In May, he joined a disabled swimming team and entered the workforce. Oh said at the time: "He became an employee the moment he turned 20."
