Kim Hee Jae drops REVERB timetable: 3rd full album set for September 7
Trot singer Kim Hee Jae has unveiled the full pre-release schedule for his 3rd full album REVERB, arriving September 7, 2026.
Kim Hee Jae is coming back with a full album. On August 5, the 30-year-old trot singer revealed the complete timetable for REVERB, his 3rd full-length record—and the rollout starts almost immediately.
Album pre-orders open August 7. A mood board drops August 10. Concept photos 1 and 2 follow on August 12 and 14, then concept photos 3 and 4 on August 17 and 19. The track list lands August 21. Preview clips 1 and 2 arrive August 24 and 28, with a highlight medley closing out the month on August 31. An M/V teaser goes up September 4. The full album and music video release together on September 7.
The announcement comes about six weeks after Kim released the digital single 이런 날 기다렸나요 on June 26—a track co-written and composed by Jang Yun-jeong.
Kim was born in 1995 and debuted in March 2020. Long before that he'd already won the grand prize at the 2007 Tamjin River Silverfish Festival, an excellence award on KBS National Song Show's Ulsan Jung-gu edition that same year, and the grand prize at the 2013 National Youth Trot Song Festival. More recently: the Hot Trend Award at the Melon Music Awards, the Next Generation Korean Wave Star Award at the Korean Wave Culture Awards, and the Stepping Stone Award at the Korean Image Awards. At the 2024 and 2025 Trot Music Awards he took both the Top 10 Singer Award and Hot Performer Award. Earlier this year he added Best of Adult Contemporary at the 2026 Hanteor Music Awards 2025.
He also completed a 2026 nationwide tour, 희열(熙熱), hitting Seoul, Daejeon, Ulsan, and other major cities, with a Seoul encore at Olympic Hall. His official fan club, 희랑별 / Hee Rang Byeol, has been keeping up.
During his military service Kim honed his craft in the Navy Military Band. REVERB will be his first full album since then.
