Kortiis at Lollapalooza: Billboard 200 No. 3, 13-week chart run, and a Juicy J surprise
Kortiis played 40 minutes at Lollapalooza Chicago on Aug. 1 as the only K-pop boy group on the lineup, riding a Billboard 200 peak of No. 3 and a 13-week chart run for 'RED RED'.
Kortiis took the stage at Lollapalooza Chicago on August 1. They were the only K-pop boy group on the festival's 2026 lineup.
Their 40-minute set moved through 'GO!', 'WHAT YOU WANT', 'RED RED', 'Acai', and 'YOUNGCREATORCREW'. It closed with a surprise: 'MOTION (feat. Juicy J)', a digital single made with hip-hop artist Juicy J.
The timing couldn't be better. Their second mini album GREENGREEN dropped in May 2024 and debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200—their best position yet, a jump from No. 15 with their debut album COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES. 'RED RED' has spent 13 consecutive weeks on both the Billboard Global 200 and the Global (Excl. U.S.) charts as of the August 1 chart date. It also hit No. 17 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100.
One day before the festival, on July 31, Billboard named Kortiis to its '21 Under 21' list. They were the only K-pop boy group included.
