Peniel's new solo single is out
BTOB's Peniel (신동근, 32) dropped IDKI (I Don't Know If) on the 22nd at 6 PM. BTOB Company had teased it in mid-May with coming-soon images and video.
The lead rapper and main dancer of the six-member group has been releasing solo work since 2017, when THAT GIRL came out. B.O.D followed in 2019. Before IDKI, his last solo release was Story of My L:ife in 2024.
Where this fits in the BTOB timeline
BTOB debuted in 2012 with Insane (비밀). Since then the group has released mini album 12th WIND AND WISH, digital singles 불씨 (Please Stay), Be Alright, and 이보다 더 좋을 수 있을까, and mini album 13th BTODAY. They also marked their 14th debut anniversary with 우리 다시 (We Together).
On the 9th, Peniel posted a brief update alongside the comeback news: "But it rained for the rest of the day" — a short note on a rainy afternoon. (Penny the dog was not mentioned this time.)
