hrtz.wav drops second mini-album 'The Second Wave: Momentum' on Sept. 9 with RIIZE Seongchan feature

Six tracks, one feature, and a festival résumé to back it up

hrtz.wav's second mini-album The Second Wave: Momentum drops September 9. Six tracks. The title track A Live is electronic synth-pop, and it features RIIZE member Seongchan alongside the group's own members, who also contributed musically to the record.

A Live marks a clear genre shift from the debut. The group's first mini-album The First Wave centered on Nineteen, a youth-pop title track praised for its refreshing quality, plus five other songs including the lyrically melodic Highlight. The new album matches that same six-track count.

10 festival stages in five months

The timing matters because hrtz.wav has been road-testing that debut catalog hard. Within five months of debuting, the group was invited to approximately 10 festival stages and built sets of 30 minutes or more centered on those six debut tracks. That's a lot of stage time on a single album's worth of material.

The second mini-album effectively doubles the live setlist pool. With A Live's synth-pop energy and Seongchan's feature adding profile, the group heads into the next festival cycle with significantly more to work with.
