Jeong Eun-ji throws a combined album listening and birthday party with four Apink members—their first face-to-face fan meeting in a decade.
Jeong Eun-ji is meeting fans face-to-face for the first time in 10 years. She paired a listening session for her new album with a birthday party in one event. Four Apink members showed up: Park Chorong, Yoon Bomi, Kim Namjoo, and Oh Hayoung. It's a full-group reunion 15 years after the group's debut.
Eun-ji wrote and produced every track on the new album herself. She describes it as a record built around the many different emotions of love, and she performed the new songs live at the listening session.
The reunion also surfaced some long-buried group lore. On MBC variety show Omniscient Interfering View (전지적 참견 시점), the members revealed that during Apink's innocent-concept era, Yoon Bomi used to draw exaggerated seagull-shaped eyebrows and disguise herself before sneaking into clubs. (The visual is exactly as chaotic as it sounds.)
Jeong Eun-ji was the group's unofficial disciplinarian. She quietly monitored members' behavior and clothing choices throughout those years—a side of her the fandom apparently did not see coming.
Episode 414 of Omniscient Interfering View airs Saturday at 11:10 PM.
