First full-length in 2.5 years hits the music show circuit

Kim Hee-jae performed Annyeongeun Jeongmal Sile ("I Really Hate Goodbyes") on MBC Show! Music Core on September 12. His third regular album REVERB (리버브) had arrived five days earlier, on September 7.

The album title translates literally as "reverberation"—the sound that lingers in a space after the music stops. The concept builds around that image: Kim Hee-jae's music and emotions staying with listeners long after a track ends. This is his first regular album in approximately two years and six months.

What's on the record

REVERB spans six distinct genres. Eurodance pop. Dance trot. Pop ballad. Semi-trot. Latin dance. Synth-pop.

Kim Hee-jae contributed to songwriting and composition across the album. The title track was co-written with composer Jo Young-soo (조영수), credited as a hit maker in the industry. It pairs an upbeat 1980s Eurodance pop sound with Kim Hee-jae's vocals.

The stage

The Music Core performance on the 12th was his first major music show appearance with the new material. Two and a half years is a long gap for a regular album in any genre—the range here signals this one was built to cover ground.
