NMIXX set October 19 comeback with sixth mini album 'Strange Muse'
Five months after 'Heavy Serenade', NMIXX returns with 'Strange Muse' on Oct 19 — featuring the group's first-ever unit tracks and title song 'Gin Soeun (Birthday Wish)'.
NMIXX locks in Oct 19 with a full pre-release schedule
NMIXX's sixth mini album Strange Muse drops October 19. That's roughly five months after Heavy Serenade. The countdown started September 23 with a motion poster, and the schedule stays packed all the way through release day.

Six tracks, three units, all members in the writing room
Strange Muse has six tracks total. The title is "Gin Soeun (Birthday Wish)." The rest: "Kerosene," "RudE TaLK," and three unit songs. "Neoneun Dal (Sing to the Moon)" pairs LILY and HAEWON. "Hot 'n Unbothered" has SULLYOON and BAE. "Whip" features JIWOO and KYUJIN.
These unit tracks are a first for the group. All six members—LILY, HAEWON, SULLYOON, BAE, JIWOO, and KYUJIN—worked directly on the unit material for the first time since debut. Three two-member units on one album means a lot of ground to cover, and they wrote their own parts.
Coming off a major award win
The comeback announcement landed days after NMIXX won the Digital Album Award at the 2026 THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS on September 19. They took it home with "Blue Valentine." That's the backdrop for Strange Muse—a group riding a fresh major award into a six-track album built around member-led unit work.
