TXT's 'Setsuna Hanabi' earns Japan Gold Disc Platinum with 250K shipments, bringing group's certified total to 17
Tomorrow X Together's Japanese 5th single hit 250,000 cumulative shipments in August, earning Platinum from the Japan Record Association. Their second such certification this year.
250K shipments, one Platinum
Tomorrow X Together's Japanese 5th single Setsuna Hanabi (セツナハナビ) crossed into Platinum territory with the Japan Record Association after cumulative shipments surpassed 250,000 units as of August. This marks their second Platinum certification in 2026. The first came in April when their Korean mini-album 7TH YEAR: 가시덤불에 잠시 바람이 멈췄을 때 hit the same threshold domestically.
The four-track single includes the title track, two new songs—"Silence" and "Nice to Meet Ya"—plus an alternate version of Setsuna Hanabi.
Chart firsts that came with it
Before the certification even landed, the title track was already making noise. It hit #1 on the Oricon Weekly Digital Single Ranking dated August 31. First time TXT topped that chart. The same track also claimed #1 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 for August 17–23 (another first), and swept Hot Shot Song and Download Song rankings in that same period.

Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai are scheduled to perform at the 2026 Global Citizen Festival at Central Park in New York on September 26 (local time).
