Catch the Young drop hard rock single 'PARANOIA', announce Taiwan show and Europe tour
Catch the Young dropped 'PARANOIA' on October 20 with twin pedals on drums for the first time, ahead of Taiwan and European dates.

'PARANOIA' lands October 20
Catch the Young (강산이, 안기훈, 김남현, 이준용, 최정모) released their new single PARANOIA on October 20 across online music platforms. A music video teaser had already dropped on the 16th.
The track is hard rock/metal built on fast double bass drumming, organ arpeggios, slap bass, heavy and technical guitar, and classical piano. Each instrument carries its own weight. Lyrically, PARANOIA follows a story of breaking free from the anxiety and obsessive thoughts that trap a person and pushing toward a new world.
One production note: this is the first Catch the Young release to use twin pedals on the drums. A real shift in the band's sonic toolkit.
Who made what
The band handled the whole thing in-house. Kim Nam-hyun (김남현) and Ahn Ki-hoon (안기훈) wrote the lyrics. All five members share composition credits. Kang San-i (강산이) also took on sound FX programming for the track. Choi Jeong-mo (최정모) drew the album cover himself.
Kang San-i described the mindset going in:
"I put all my effort into producing 'PARANOIA' with the thought of creating a song that could satisfy listeners from the birthplace of rock band music."
The "birthplace of rock" framing signals where the band's aiming—straight at an international audience.
What's next: Taiwan, then Europe
The release is timed to a packed end-of-year schedule. Catch the Young will perform at 2026 ROCK IN TAICHUNG in Taiwan on November 1, then move into their 2026 CATCH THE YOUNG EUROPE TOUR – IGNITE EVOLVE running from November through December.
Cheer the story
