Dragon Pony returns as a trio with 'Calling Back,' first release since bassist's departure
Dragon Pony drops a new single November 5—eight months after their third EP, two months after bassist Pyeon Seong-hyun's departure.

Eight months, one fewer member, one new single
Dragon Pony—now An Tae-gyu, Kwon Se-hyuk, and Go Gang-hun—will release Calling Back on November 5 at 6 PM through various music streaming sites. The single marks their first new music since RUN RUN RUN dropped in March, and their first release since bassist Pyeon Seong-hyun left the group in August.
Pyeon paused activities in July for health reasons. A month later, he decided to leave both the band and the agency. Calling Back is what the three-member lineup sounds like.
The band has been rolling out concept photos in two versions: "Back," symbolizing the past, and "Now," symbolizing the present. The "Now" version dropped October 20 via the group's official accounts.
Self-produced, as always
Dragon Pony has operated as a self-producing band throughout their career. All members serve as main producers on songwriting. Previous tracks include "팝 업," "네버," "낫 아웃," and "지구소년." The group also made their official debut in Japan this year.
December concerts in Seoul
A solo concert—2026 Dragon Pony Concert 'Calling Back'—is scheduled for December 5 and 6 at Blue Square Woori WON Banking Hall in Seoul. (Two nights at Blue Square while navigating a lineup change says something.)
Calling Back releases November 5.
