Kim Da-hyun releases "Gwangyang-eseo Mannan Sarang," a semi-trot tribute to her grandparents
Kim Da-hyun released a semi-trot on Oct. 8 inspired by her grandparents' love story in Gwangyang—she co-wrote and composed it herself.

A family story turned into a song
Kim Da-hyun (김다현) released Gwangyang-eseo Mannan Sarang (광양에서 만난 사랑) on October 8. The track is a Korean traditional music-style semi-trot built around the real love story of her grandparents, who lived together in Gwangyang.
She co-wrote and co-composed the song herself. Her reason: she wanted to share the love story that started her family with as many people as possible.
Gwangyang ambassador, festival run incoming
Kim Da-hyun is currently serving as a promotional ambassador for Gwangyang City, taking part in activities to raise awareness of the region's culture and tourism. The new single fits the role.
This month she plans to perform on festival stages across the country and meet audiences in person.
Cheer the story
