LIGHTSUM drops spoiler poster ahead of full-group M Countdown return, first in 2 years
Cube Entertainment teased something big on Oct 19. LIGHTSUM's six members will perform together on M Countdown on Oct 22—their first full-group stage in roughly two years.
Six members, one stage, two years in the making
Cube Entertainment dropped an emoji spoiler poster on LIGHTSUM's official SNS on October 19. The reveal comes October 22 at noon. All six members (상아, 초원, 나영, 히나, 주현, 유정) will take the stage together on Mnet M Countdown for the first time in approximately two years.
The full-group broadcast appearance follows a busy run in Japan. Last month the group released the Japanese mini album Re:idol, which charted at 4th on the Oricon daily album chart and 20th on the weekly album chart. The title track どうして (Doshite) hit 6th on YouTube Music Japan's daily shorts popular songs chart and 3rd on the daily chart.
What's coming before October 22
Fans get two more things this week. The web entertainment show 또, 라잇썸 (Also, LIGHTSUM) drops on October 20. The group is also running a weekly FM Osaka radio show, LIGHTSUM's Re:Radio, every Monday evening.
(The spoiler poster technically reveals at noon on the same day as the M Countdown performance.)
The October 22 noon reveal will clarify what exactly is next for the group beyond the stage appearance.
