Singer-songwriter SONYEONSEUNG debuts Oct. 28 with double single and MV featuring actor Kim In-gwon
SONYEONSEUNG, 25, debuts with two tracks—rock's '나무야' and folk-rock '달 별 그리고 담배 하나'—on October 28.

25 years old, one debut, two tracks
SONYEONSEUNG (소년승) drops his debut double single across online music platforms on October 28. 나무야 (Namua) is a bright rock song built on a full band sound meant to express the energy and confidence of someone in their 20s. 달 별 그리고 담배 하나 (Dal Byeol Geureogo Dambe Hana) pairs with it—a folk-rock cut defined by deep vocals and a lyrical, introspective atmosphere.
The MV for 달 별 그리고 담배 하나 drops the same day. Actor Kim In-gwon (김인권) appears in it.
90s Korean rock filtered through a 25-year-old's ears
SONYEONSEUNG grew up in a household rooted in Korean traditional arts. Both parents worked in fields including traditional music and dance, and he absorbed those sounds from childhood. His pop influences lean toward the late Kim Kwang-seok (故 김광석) and Lim Jae-beom (임재범), two figures central to Korean rock and folk from the 90s. The result is 90s Korean rock and folk reinterpreted through a 25-year-old's sensibility, with a distinctly Korean emotional register.
Before the debut, he built a pre-release footprint through cover live videos on his official YouTube and SNS. Lim Jae-beom's 이 밤이 지나면. Ahn Chi-hwan's 사람이 꽃보다 아름다워. Jannabi's 전설. Three songs across three generations of Korean indie and folk, which signals where his taste sits and what his voice can handle.
October 28
Both the double single and the 달 별 그리고 담배 하나 MV land October 28.
