Verbal Jint drops '가정법' as second pre-release from album 14 years in the making

Verbal Jint released 가정법 (feat. 그냥노창, B-Free & 율음) on October 22. The track is the second pre-release single from 10년동안의오독 II, the follow-up to 10년동안의오독 I from 2012. That's 14 years between the two records.

The first preview, SUPERDRY (feat. Luci Gang), came out September 29. 가정법 landed roughly three weeks later.

What the track is actually about

The song opens with a simple question: what would my life look like now if I had made a different choice back then? Verbal Jint sits with regret, lingering attachment, and curiosity in the understated, plain-spoken delivery that defines his work. No melodrama. Just the weight of the hypothetical.

Rapper and producer 그냥노창 (Geunyangnochangg) and rapper B-Free both feature. Guitarist 율음 (Yureeum) contributes live guitar, adding texture to the emotional core.

The B-Free collaboration wasn't a surprise. Verbal Jint had posted on SNS: "B-Free랑 한 곡하면 안돼?" — floating the idea publicly before it became real.
