Hwan4's Seong Baek-hyeon goes solo on YouTube after parting ways with editing team
A Hwansŭng Yeonae 4 cast member posted a late-night vlog from Yongsan Family Park and announced he's now handling all shooting, planning, and editing solo.

Late-night solo debut at Yongsan Family Park
Seong Baek-hyeon posted a video titled 드릴 말씀 있습니다 ("I Have Something to Tell You") to his personal YouTube channel on November 1, filming alone late at night at Yongsan Family Park in Seoul.
The Hwansŭng Yeonae 4 cast member launched his channel 이번생은 성백현 after the dating series wrapped in January. He started uploading in February with various guests and different content formats.
Split from his editing team, channel renamed
He parted ways with his YouTube editing team and now handles shooting, planning, and editing entirely by himself. The channel name changed from 이번생은 성백현 to 성백현.
In the video, he acknowledged the awkwardness: "I've never actually held a camera like this and done it by myself."
He explained the long delay:
"I kept putting YouTube off. I tried it with a team, and I also worked one-on-one with a director I got to know personally, but I wanted to capture my own daily life myself and do it alone — and honestly, the preparation for that took quite a long time."
Overthinking was the main obstacle. "Just do it. Whatever it is, just start. So that's what I'm doing now. Please support me."
Mukbang content incoming
Seong teased upcoming mukbang content: "I actually know a huge number of great restaurants. I have them all figured out, so just follow me."
(The channel rename signals a shift—dropping the show-branded title for his own name suggests he's building something personal, not just cashing in on reality TV.)
