Olive Young K-Beauty Edit Is Now Inside Southeast Asian Sephora Stores

Chloé Martin·10/19/2026, 2:11:42 PM

Olive Young completed its rollout into Sephora locations across Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Hong Kong — four Southeast Asian markets now carrying the dedicated "Olive Young K-Beauty Edit" shelf, both in physical stores and online. The partnership with Sephora was signed in January 2026, and the Southeast Asia push follows an earlier US Sephora launch in August.

The brand selection for Southeast Asia was deliberately shaped around the region's hot, humid climate — Olive Young curated skincare and sun-care products suited to those conditions rather than just mirroring what's on shelves in Seoul. The specific brands stocked were chosen with that local environment in mind, which is a smarter move than a copy-paste of the Korean bestseller chart.

To mark the Southeast Asia completion, Olive Young ran a pop-up at ION Orchard, a major shopping complex in Singapore, from October 8 to 14. If you missed it, that window has already closed — but the permanent Sephora shelf is the lasting takeaway here. The pop-up was about building awareness; the Sephora counter is where the ongoing access lives.

The expansion doesn't stop at Southeast Asia. Olive Young has confirmed plans to bring the K-Beauty Edit shelf to Sephora locations in Canada, Australia, the UK, and the Middle East sometime in 2027. For global K-beauty fans who've been ordering from Korean online retailers and paying international shipping, having a curated Olive Young section at a local Sephora is a genuinely different kind of access — you can swatch, return, and discover new brands without a two-week wait.

The strategy is clear: use Sephora's existing retail infrastructure to widen K-beauty's footprint market by market, with product curation tailored per region rather than a one-size global shelf. Whether the 2027 Western markets rollout arrives on schedule will be worth watching.
