MONSTA X comeback September 4 with mini album 'The Phase'
Five members return with 'The Phase' on Sept. 4 — their first domestic release in about a year. I.M sits out due to military service.
MONSTA X will release the mini album The Phase on September 4, their first domestic group release since THE X dropped on September 1 last year.
Starship Entertainment posted a surprise teaser video on the 6th across MONSTA X's official social channels, unveiling both the album title and release date at once. Beyond that, nothing—no tracklist, no concept details.
Five members are involved in The Phase activities: leader Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, and Jooheon. I.M, the youngest, is currently serving in the military and will rejoin after his discharge.
The timing puts the comeback right in the middle of a packed schedule. MONSTA X is already running the 2026 MONSTA X WORLD TOUR THE X : NEXUS, with a North America leg coming in October. (Monbebe have a lot to look forward to between now and year-end.)
The group also released a US third full-length album ahead of this domestic return.
