'MAGIC' takes Music Bank, then the group goes full hanbok
MONSTA X dropped The Phase mini album and "MAGIC" claimed first place on KBS2's Music Bank September 11. By September 23, the group had posted a Chuseok photo set to their official SNS captioned 'MONSTA X 2026 CHUSEOK PHOTO'.
IM (아이엠) is serving in the military. The five active members — Jooheon, Hyungwon, Kihyun, Minhyuk, and Shownu — appear in the hanbok shots.
Where The Phase fits in the catalog
Their first US full-length album ALL ABOUT LUV (2020) hit No. 5 on the Billboard 200. MONSTA X became the first K-pop group to join the Jingle Ball tour — America's largest year-end music festival — multiple times.
Jooheon and IM have led rap-making, songwriting, and composition on major title tracks and B-sides. Hyungwon expanded his role as a producer and helped shape the team's sound. He and Shownu also ran a unit together as Shownu X Hyungwon.
