MONSTA X set for September 4 comeback with 6-track album 'The Phase'
Starship Entertainment has released individual trailers for Minhyuk, Hyungwon, and Kihyun as MONSTA X gears up for a new album headlined by 'MAGIC'.
MONSTA X will release The Phase on September 4. Starship Entertainment rolled out individual trailers for members Minhyuk, Hyungwon, and Kihyun across social media.
The album has six tracks total, with MAGIC as the title track.
All three members arrive fresh off solo projects. Minhyuk dropped his first solo digital single Reaching in June—a track that leaned into his soft yet husky tone with an authenticity and comforting emotion that stuck. Hyungwon has been running the Shownu X Hyungwon unit; their second mini album LOVE ME came out in May and landed on Billboard's "25 Best K-pop Albums of 2026 (to date), Staff Pick" list. Kihyun released his second mini album BORDERLINE last month, a rock-based record that stretched into R&B and pop, then followed it with an English-version release of the same album.
