Fly to the Sky's Brian announces 8-year comeback — but the album is only 1/10 done
Brian confirmed Fly to the Sky is returning after 8 years on tvN's 'Nollaun Saturday,' then revealed the new album is barely started.

The comeback is real. The album is not ready.
Fly to the Sky is coming back — eventually. Brian confirmed the duo's return on the October 17 episode of tvN's Nollaun Saturday (놀라운 토요일, episode 438), appearing alongside god's Park Jun-hyung and Billy Tsuki for a "Foreign Idols in Korea" special. Eight years have passed since Fly to the Sky released music as a full unit.
The catch: Brian told the panel that work on the new album is only about 1/10 complete. Park Jun-hyung did the math instantly. "Then it might not come out at all," he joked. "If they fight in the middle, another comeback in 8 years — a 2034 comeback."
"We just haven't seen each other for 8 years"
That joke landed because Brian also used the appearance to address long-running rumors about a falling-out between him and Hwanhee (환희). His answer did not exactly kill the speculation.
"People have it wrong. I have never fought with Hwanhee," Brian said. Then came the clarification that confused the room: "People fight by hitting and bleeding, but Hwanhee and I just haven't seen each other for 8 years."
He elaborated: "When trouble arises, we just don't see each other." No fight, technically. Just eight years of not making eye contact.
Where the duo stands
Fly to the Sky is a male duo built around Brian and Hwanhee, known for tracks including Missing You, 가슴 아파도, and 남자답게. The group has announced full unit activities for this comeback cycle. The album sits at 1/10 completion with no release date in sight.
