Jung Min-a wipes Dong-ha's necktie stain, sparks long-term romance suspicion in 'Mom Went Crazy'
On Oct. 23, KBS1TV's '엄마가 미쳤어요' centered Kang Da-mi and Cha Seung-yoon's connection around a silk necktie stained with tteokbokki broth.

A necktie, a broth accident, and a question about his girlfriend
The October 23 episode of KBS1TV daily drama 엄마가 미쳤어요 opened with Cha Seung-yoon (Dong-ha) and Kang Da-mi (Jung Min-a) at a snack bar sharing tteokbokki, fried food, sundae. Then his silk necktie—his late father's—fell into the broth.
Kang Da-mi was unimpressed. "Are you a world-class designer?" she asked. "Who wipes a silk necktie with wet tissue?" She offered to fix it herself, but only if he paid for lunch when she succeeded.
She got the stain out.
With the necktie restored, Da-mi asked why he cared so much about something so visibly worn. Seung-yoon said: "I received it from someone I love." That answer raised new questions. Da-mi worked through it aloud—he'd mentioned a girlfriend, the necktie was clearly old, so he must be in a long-term relationship. (The show letting her say the quiet part loud carries real weight.)
Debt collector meets delinquent customer
Se-na (Choi Yu-bin) started her first day at Hwanggeum Capital and was sent to find Dae-chi (Kim Jong-hoon), a borrower dodging calls. She showed up at his home.
"Pay back the money. I'm from Hwanggeum Capital," she said. Dae-chi replied: "You don't look like someone from that industry." Se-na offered a deal. Three months of overdue interest, and she'd pause collection efforts. Before the scene ended, Dae-chi's mother Mi-mi (Kim Hee-jung) appeared, and he felt the need to clarify: "It's not what mom is thinking."
