Park Ye-seung lands first perfect 150-vote score on 'Our Ballad 2' as show hits 40M views
Park Jin-seo, 13, took second with 148 votes as Episode 3 hit 5.8% ratings and topped Netflix Korea's entertainment chart.
150 votes, zero exceptions
Park Ye-seung took every single vote from the Top 100 judges panel in Round 1 of Our Ballad 2 — all 150 of them — after performing Maya's "나를 외치다" (Cry Out My Name). The season's first unanimous score.
Lee Won-seok, who wrote the track, responded directly: "Hearing it with a pure and powerful voice is touching and very moving. Thank you for singing it well."
Im Ba-da and Heo Chae-min each earned 147 votes in Round 1. They'll square off in a death match on November 26 at 10 PM on SBS.
13 years old, second place overall
Park Jin-seo, the season's youngest at 13, performed Yoon Mi-rae's "Good Bye Sadness, Hello Happiness" — a song for his mother — and landed 148 votes, second only to Park Ye-seung. Joo Woo-jae said he "thought an R&B master had come." Cha Tae-hyun called it proof that "finally a star has emerged from Dangjin."
The average participant age this season dropped to 17.9 years old.
Numbers the show is putting up
Episode 3 drew a 5.8% viewership rating in the Seoul metropolitan area (Part 2 basis), peaking at 6.5% per minute. The 2049 demographic hit 1.5%, first in its time slot for the third straight week.
Streaming numbers tell the same story. Netflix Korea's #1 entertainment series. 40 million cumulative views through episode 3. 58 million since launch. Participant performances charted on Melon HOT 100 starting episode 1.
