Seven years since Sulli's passing: a look back at Choi Jin-ri's career
October 14 marks seven years since Sulli (Choi Jin-ri) was found dead at her Seongnam home in 2019. She was 25.

From child actress to f(x) to solo work
October 14 is the 7th anniversary of Sulli's death. Born Choi Jin-ri in 1994, she was found dead on October 14, 2019 at her residence in Seongnam. She was 25.
Her career started early. She debuted as a child actress in the SBS drama Seodongyo in 2005. Four years later she joined SM Entertainment's f(x). The group released LA chA TA, Hot Summer, Electric Shock, and Rum Pum Pum Pum—tracks that still circulate. She left f(x) in 2015.
After f(x): film, features, and a final single
Post-group, she worked across formats. In 2017 she appeared in the film Real. The following year she was featured on DEAN's 하루살이 (Harusari). In 2019—the year she died—she released the single Goblin and made a special appearance on tvN's Hotel Del Luna.
Her posthumous project Persona: Sulli screened at the 28th Busan International Film Festival in 2023, then moved to Netflix. The release comprised two works: the short film 4: Clean Island and the feature-length documentary To Jinri (진리에게).
